The 17th edition of Sydney Ten 2025 took place in light rain on Sunday 18th May. A record 2400 runners enjoyed the run around Sydney Olympic Park, and Nowra athletes were among them.
In the 10km event Glen Mustapic had a great run of 48.07 and was 56th in the 50-54 years age group and 916th overall from a huge field of 1513. Newly kitted out in the Nowra colours, Greg Griffis clocked 1.06.47 in his debut 10km and was 105th in the 40-44 years category.
In the 5km race, Mark O’Leary took out his age group of 55-59 years with 24.11 and was 83rd overall from 202. Mel Mustapic was 2nd in her age group, 50-54 years, running home in 30.34 whilst Matt Watson was 3rd in the age group with a solid run of 28.46.
