Several members made the journey to Riverside Park in Goulburn to participate in the Goulburn Half Marathon event, held on Sunday 25th May 2025.
There were a variety of distances on offer, and all courses offered a scenic run along the Wollondilly River.
Glen Mustapic took on the 21.1k Half Marathon, finishing in 1.51.37 for 8th place in the 50-59 years group and 82nd overall from a big field of 267.
Mark O’Leary tackled the 10km event and had a good run, coming home in 53.34 for 8th place in the 50-59 years group and 39th overall from 175 entries. Geoff Crook also ran the 10kms and was happy to run under the hour, clocking 59.24 for 4th place in the 60-69 years group and 75th overall.
Nine-year old Lhiam Crook ran the 2km dash and had a fantastic run as the fastest athlete under 13 years. Lhiam crossed the line in 8.39 in 2nd place, only 4 seconds behind an open age athlete.
