Whilst Nowra fielded 10 teams at NSW Relays on Saturday 31st May, others ran at home on the UOW course.
Hamish Bennett was the sole runner in the 1km event and finished in 6.25. Whilst in the 2km event, Winter Bell took the win in 14.53 closely followed by Isabella Parmenter in 14.56.
There were 8 competitors in the 3km event and Charli Keogh took the win in 23.38. Jaxon Keogh was 2nd in 23.49 and Tom Smart was 3rd in the fastest time of 12.58. Lisa Carroll was 4th in 20.17 followed by Chloe Keogh in 25.21. Malachy Martin was 6th in 25.55, Sam Keogh was 7th in 34.37 and Grace Rose rounded out the field in 8th place in 28.00.
Medium course was won by Natasha Toms in 31.47 followed by Miller Bell in 30.34 and then Nathan Rose in 39.03. Matt Reid was the fastest over 5kms, clocking 19.40 in 4th place. Alex Arnold was 5th in 29.43, Katie Martin was 6th in 31.29 and Rod Rose was 7th in 29.50. Sky Martin finished 8th in 37.43 and Dennis Smart was 9th, in the 2nd fastest time of 20.59. Eva Moeller-Duhme completed the field in 42.43.
Darcy Arnold took line honours in long course, crossing in 54.31. Marty Bell was 2nd in 53.46 and Elisha Bell was 3rd in 49.26. Scott Martin was the fastest runner over 10kms clocking 45.49 and crossing in 4th place. Rebecca Cooper was 5th in 56.01 followed by Perry Strand in 49.25 and Erich Moeller-Duhme in 1.04.35. Jasper Arnold was 8th in 49.23 and then Leith Babian was 9th in the 2nd fastest time of 46.19. Scott Johnson was 10th in 53.02 and Glenn Sansom, fresh from his Europe trip, was 11th in 53.29.
