Major Events 2007

 
Welcome to the Nowra Athletics Club Web site.

 Nowra Athletics Club began in 1960, offering Athletics to people of all ages and ability within the City of Shoalhaven and because of the ‘all age’ factor we are very proud to be classed as a ‘Family Club’

Therefore family participation is encouraged. Very few sporting clubs are able to offer competition for all family members at the same time and venue.
 
We run programs all year round. Cross Country (winter), Track & Field (summer) and Road Running (summer).( more information)
 
The Nowra Athletic Club runs two Major Events each winter open to all athletes out side of the
Nowra Club.

Willandra "Country Classic" Cross Country Gala & State Championships

Shoalhaven "King of the Mountain" a 32km mountain run, Nowra to Kangaroo Valley via Mt Scanzi. (more information)

The Nowra Club Members are given assistance to compete at the Athletics NSW Country Championships, held in January each year.(more information)

Nowra Athletics Club was Accredited in the Good Sports Program on the 15th May, 2008

Membership with Nowra Club and Athletics NSW is open to all interested in the Great sport of athletics.

Athletes are encouraged to take advantage of training in specific Athletic Disciplines.
